YOUR STARTING POINT

Before You Apply

  • Be a teaching-status PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or hold a higher instructor rating.
  • Hold a PADI Enriched Air Diver certification or a qualifying certification.
  • Have at least 10 logged enriched-air dives.
  • Complete the Specialty Instructor Training course with Course Director Luis Miguel.
  • Submit your application and receive rating approval before teaching the specialty.

Not Enriched Air certified yet?

You may be able to complete the diver-level training concurrently. You will need to complete the certification and required dive experience before submitting your instructor application.
