Our PADI IDC in Mexico combines personal coaching, realistic teaching practice and professional dive operation experience in Playa del Carmen.
Our 14-day PADI Instructor Development Course in Playa del Carmen prepares you for more than the Instructor Examination. Through personal coaching, practical teaching sessions and experience inside an active dive operation, you will develop the confidence, judgment and professional mindset expected from a respected PADI Instructor.

ARE YOU READY?
What You Need to Begin
You do not need to arrive as a perfect instructor candidate. You need the required experience, a professional attitude and the willingness to learn, receive feedback and improve.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold a PADI Divemaster certification or accepted equivalent
- Have been a certified diver for at least six months
- Have at least 100 logged dives before starting the IDC
- Have completed CPR and first aid training within the previous 24 months
- Submit medical clearance signed by a physician within the previous 12 months
- Be physically fit for diving
- - Be ready to teach, lead and accept professional responsibility
