The PADI Tec 50 Course is the final step in the entry-level technical diving certification series, allowing you to dive deeper and extend your decompression capabilities. Building on the skills developed in Tec 45, this course teaches you to conduct multi-stop decompression dives and manage multiple decompression gases. As your instructor, I will guide you through advanced dive planning, problem-solving, and equipment management to enhance your technical diving proficiency.
What You’ll Learn
Plan & Execute Deeper Dives: Conduct technical dives to a maximum depth of 50 meters/165 feet.
Advanced Decompression Planning: Use multiple decompression gases (up to 100% oxygen) to optimize decompression stops.
Gas Switching & Equipment Configuration: Learn how to manage and safely switch between multiple gas cylinders.
Emergency Procedures & Risk Management: Develop advanced problem-solving strategies for handling potential Tec diving emergencies.
Advanced Dive Planning: Utilize dive planning software to create precise and safe decompression schedules.
Course Combinations: Strengthen your technical diving expertise by combining this course with Tec Sidemount Diver for improved gas management or Blender Nitrox to develop advanced gas blending skills.
